Professionally produced from day one. Priced sensibly to sell to the right home. Very special serious competiton horse in the right hands.
Lottie, as she is known to us, is my super smart 16.1hh bright bay homebred mare who I bred to keep for myself. Unfortunately, ongoing knee problems and a toddler has forced the sensible decision to sell her, despite taking her off the market last year and managing to compete her myself for a little while! Sadly, my knee is struggling to hold up to the jumping, which is her forte!
As you can see she is a beautiful uphill type with clean legs, good feet, nice amount of bone and a very sweet nature. She will excel as an Eventer/SJ/ Lightweight Working Hunter or All-rounder, has never been hunting but I have no doubt she would be great and love it! Her breeding speaks for itself with renowned Olympic Dressage Champions on both sides (See below)
Lottie is a class mare and catches the eye where-ever we go. She has a lot of power and a scopey jump, so will suit a confident and competent rider who can tap into that and keep the machine running underneath them. She has trained around 1.20m SJ courses/ Novice XC fences at Somerford and at home on grass making them look easy - super bold and straight with fillers/water trays/ jumping down into water/ skinny’s/ ditches etc. I have no doubt that she will easily progress to Novice by the end of the season once shes done a handful of BE90s/100s to see a few more tracks and get fitter.
Her full history is known since birth. She scored highly in the dressage futurity classes as a foal. Her dam is Urlande JJ who's sired by Metall, who also sired Carl Hester's 2012 Olympic Gold medal winning ride Uthopia. Her dams' dam was a competitive show jumper around 1.30m tracks before being bought into the UK as a broodmare. Her younger half-brother (Lynwood Unleashed) on the Dam side was sold as a 4yo and is successfully jumping double clears and being placed top 5 with Emily Philp at Novice having won the BE100 Cotswold Cup 2023. Videos available on request.
Will suit a home with off road hacking or quieter slower roads with a good nanny horse- big, noisy, fast traffic is not her favourite thing. I'm sure in a crowd out hunting she would get better if tucked away from big taffic to start with. Our road is a 50mph on a hill so just not suitable. Absolute legend hacking out & going for a trot and canter around our farm through sheep, doing gates, on her own or in company all day long. She is super easy to take out, goes on lorry or trailer and a total pleasure to have around and do. Happy to live in or out and good to get back on after a week off. Good to clip/catch/shoe etc
We are looking for a knowledgeable & experienced home wanting a really smart horse to produce up the levels properly that doesnt mind a mare. Lottie will be a talented addition to anyone’s yard professional or experienced amateur. She is a proper competition horse and would not suit a rider that rides as a passenger. She makes her best shape once up in front of the leg over 1.10m fences upwards. Serious competition horse in the right hands.
Gutted to be selling her. No long texts. Phone calls only please.
